Full Detail – Exterior and Interior [ gallery ]

While the car is in fairly good condition, there were still some major issues with this detail.  I’ve included some before pictures of the tires (notice the large accumulation of brake dust), the hood and trunk (heavy swirl marks and water spots), and the front of the vehicle (road tar).  I’ve included a list of products used for this detail.  I was hoping to take some more photos of the work in progress, but I was on such a tight time constraint for the amount of work the client wanted done.

Wheels and Tires:

• DP Gel Wheel Cleaner
• DP Wheel Glaze
• Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel

Exterior – Wash:

• DP XTreme Foam Auto Wash
• DP Rinsless Wash and Gloss (used as water conditioner)
• DP Waterless Auto Wash (used to remove bugs and other stubborn road debris)
• Turtle Wax Bug and Tar Remover (used to help remove bugs and road tar)
• The vehicle needed two exterior washes.  I used a microfiber sponge for the first wash and a Cobra microfiber mitt for the second wash.

Exterior – Paint:

• Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
• Pinnacle Clay Lubricant
• Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #4
• Pinnacle XMT Swirl Remover #1 (used as a restoring polish)

• Lake Country CSS 6.5″ White Pad (polishing, no cut)

• Wolfgang Deep Gloss Pain Sealant 3.0 (1 coat)

• Rain-X
• DP Plex All Plastic Cleaner and Polish (seal interior window tint)

Exterior – Trim and Plastic:

• DP Plex All Plastic Cleaner and Polish (all clear plastics)
• Meguiar’s Hot Rims Chrome Polish (all chrome accents)

Interior – Leather and Vinyl:

• Pinnacle Leather and Vinyl Cleaner
• Pinnacle Vinyl and Rubber Protectant
• Pinnacle Leather Conditioner
• Horse hair soft brush

Interior – Glass:

• DP High Performance Glass Restorer

Other:

• All water softened with portable water (in-line) softener
• Cobra microfiber products (all towels and applicators)
